Dear friends, Alma Eslovena people, dance and fun lovers!
This year Alma Eslovena is celebrating 16 years of its existence and that is why we have prepared something very special for you 🥳
This time we have invited 3 dance couples as guests - for all our bachata lovers and for all Cuban salsa lovers.
For all Cuban salsa lovers, for the first time in our dance family, there will be with us world-famous professional Cuban dancers and choreographers - one of the most famous dance couples and excellent teachers on the global Cuban scene, the one and only 💥Andy and Yuliet💥
For bachata lovers, this time we have invited two dance couples –
with us will be the already well-known 💥Anita and Marko💥, excellent dancers and teachers from Zagreb, pioneers of Dominican bachata in our area and founders of BachateaMe Zagreb and Advent Bachata Congress in Zagreb,
and for the first time in our dance family, 💥Nikola and Mina💥, founders of the Aurora Dance Studio from Zagreb and the Croatian bachata bootcamp Aurora, where they combined Mina's musicality with Nikola's dance experience in the competitive field.
Saturday's workshops will take place at Hiša plesa (Ulica gledališča BTC 8).
We will end the day with an evening birthday party with DJs who will take care of bachata and Cuban salsa lovers.
Admission to the evening party will be free for all workshop participants, while for everyone else the entrance fee will be 10 euros with free drink included.

About the instructors
WHO ARE ANDY AND YULIET?
Andy & Yuliet are professional Cuban dancers and choreographers based in Norway. Born in Havana, they specialize in Salsa Cubana, Afro-Cuban, and Rumba, blending authentic roots with dynamic stage presence. With experience from top Cuban companies like Conjunto Folklórico Nacional and Raíces Profundas, they’ve performed worldwide and now share their passion through their project Bailan2, teaching and promoting Cuban dance culture across the globe.
WHO ARE ANITA AND MARKO?
Anita and Marko are renowned bachata dance instructors and the visionary directors of BACHATEAME ZAGREB - Croatia’s first bachata dance school. With over 13 years of experience, they bring expertise in bachata styles including traditional, modern, sensual, and Dominican Bachata, teaching dancers of all levels in the Zagreb's vibrant dance scene. They are known for their warm approach and professional teaching with high-quality bachata classes for all levels, focusing on both technique and musicality. Their passion for bachata has made them a driving force in the Croatian dance community, inspiring countless students to discover the joy of bachata.
WHO ARE NIKOLA AND MINA?
Mina and Nikola – are a blend of piano and dance, art and sport, energy and elegance. Together they founded Aurora Dance Studio Zagreb and Aurora Croatian Bachata Bootcamp, uniting Mina’s musicality with Nikola’s championship dance experience. They are winners of “The Bachata Battle” in Budapest and they teach bachata through their unique six-element methodology: security, connection, technique, musicality, flow, and authenticity – because for them, bachata is not just a dance, it’s a form of communication.
