Dear bachata dancers!
We will end this season with a treat for all bachata dancers and dance into the summer in style 🥳
On June 20th and 21st, you are invited to join us at the 💥BACHATA UNITED dance weekend💥 and repeat last year's dance experience with us.
On Saturday, June 20th, you are welcome to try yourself in 3 different bachata styles, with 3 bachata instructor couples, during 3 bachata workshops.
To make the transition to the bachata dance weekend treat even smoother, we have invited Arthur Santos, a master of bachata and zouk, who will share his knowledge with you in workshops on Wednesday and Thursday, June 17th and 18th.
Dance instructors are:
★ Arthur Santos ★
Arthur is an internationally recognized Brazilian Zouk & Bachata artist, instructor, and choreographer with over 18 years of experience teaching in 32 countries. Known for his unique approach that fuses dance technique with movement science, he helps dancers build strong foundations, body awareness, and deeper partner connection.Originally from Goiânia, Brazil, Arthur has trained in multiple Latin styles and built one of Australia’s strongest Zouk communities before founding Dance4All in Barcelona. His passion lies in empowering dancers through mindful movement, musicality, and meaningful learning experiences.
★ Matej & Dorottya ★
Matej Music from Slovenia is known for his smooth style, musicality, and creative fusion approach that blends different bachata styles and brings precision and passion to the dance floor. Dorottya Adam from Hungary is an internationally recognized dancer celebrated for her elegance, technique, and expressive movement. Her background across multiple dance styles makes her teaching both inspiring and dynamic. Together, they will deliver a great bachata fusion workshop combining technique, creativity, and connection.
★ Salvatore & Silvia ★
Salvatore and Silvia from Italy are international teachers and dancers of bachata and other Caribbean dances. They are known for their elegant and expressive bachata fusion style, their technical precision and musicality. They have been dancing and teaching together since 2019 and pass on their knowledge to dancers in their dance school in Trieste and at dance festivals in Italy and abroad.
★ Mijat & Milica ★
Mijat and Milica represent new generation of international bachata artists. They currently live and teach in Serbia in their local bachata school in Belgrade - Tocoloro Dance Academy. They are known for their unique blend of bachata influence and bachata sensual. By combining both techniques, they create a perfect balance of flow and dynamics.
The workshops will take place at Hiša plesa on Ulica gledališča BTC 8.
Gained knowledge you will be able to try out at the evening dance social party at Lolita, in Supernova Rudnik from 21:30 to 3:00!
We will have two DJs with us – from Italy DJ Requinto and local DJ, DJ Sam G! Workshop participants have party attendance included, for other there will be entrance fee of 15 euro with free drink included.
We will continue the gathering on Sunday at the POOL PARTY at the Laguna mestna plaža Ljubljana. DJ Sam G will be with you. Sunday's event is NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE, more info on purchasing tickets will follow soon 😊.
